This project in Luxembourg City was really a challenge for everyone involved in it, especially for the client who was living in the house while the works were happening. The main idea of the client was to connect the two floors using them as living space. The architects opt for a subtle approach in some areas and more extreme design conception in others, which ended up in a really interesting combination.

The openings in the roof, floors, and walls were kept and, in some spots, enlarged. This allowed the light to flow easily around the house, lightening parts of the house that used to be in the dark.
