What used to be an office building came back to life as a house for a family of five in a project developed by the hands of Philippe Meyer, a Swiss architect. On the shore of Lake Geneva, this house with glass walls has the most amazing view.

Only ten minutes distant from the city of Geneva, Phillippe Meyer developed this project of transforming the old offices from his clients’ family into a nice family house.

The building dates back to the 196’s but was still in good shape with all the conditions needed for the transformation.

Once the building was located near the lake, the main goal was to enjoy that view as much as possible, so lots of walls went down and were substituted by glass, allowing to capture all the landscape around it.

Once you enter the ground floor, you will see some functional spaces and a nice fireplace. You will also find a staircase that will lead you to the living area of the house.

The first floor is divided into two parts that include bathrooms and storage in one of the parts and the kitchen, dining room, master bedroom and lounge in the other.

Also on the first floor, you will see the terraces. the matching pavement with the inside helps to create continuity between the inside and outside.
