Architect Robert AM Stern has designed this 14 story, 46 units residential building we’re about to see in a very rare waterfront plot, overlooking the famous Hudson river. It’s called 70 Vestry, it’s expected to be finished in 2018 and it sure is a gorgeous example of how modern architecture is done.

Stern’s design of the building is somewhat of an homage to the city’s apartment houses, as well as Tribeca’s warehouse architecture.
70 vestry offers its residents 180-degree views over the city. These views include the Rockefeller park, Ellis Island, and the Statue of Liberty, like shown above.
“The building is covered with french limestone and includes a gated porte-cochère and a private courtyard that leads directly to the lobby“. If you get the chance to live in this incredible building, you’ll also want to consider some other amenities: parking system, a café, a billiards room, a lounge and dining suite, and a children’s playroom. It also includes over 8,000 square feet of health and wellness amenities, including a fitness club, a yoga studio, an international regulation singles squash court, half olympic swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms, and a private treatment room.
