It takes us only a few seconds to realized textures, materials and colors played a big role on this city flat makeover. And as you keep scrolling, you’ll realize that that’s what probably makes this interior design project so appealing and stunning.
The architects at Lucas y Hérnandez-Gil removed all the usual compartmentalizing walls in order to create an open-plan living, dining and study room. The rooms feel more connected, with a much more harmonious vibe throughout the house.
“The arrangement that we found was fully compartmentalized and constantly changed,” said the architects. “We modified the space for a clear and open one with light in every room.”

A lighting design we’d love to see in this project is the Diana table lamp by DelightFULL in a gray finish. Its uncomplicated lines would work beautifully against the hardwood desk in the home office. You can know more about table lamps here!
The walls were painted white, which is a great contrast against the oak flooring. Like the studio itself mentioned, “materials, oak and marble connect with the originals joining past and present“.
In the bedroom, we can see more oak elements, paired up with the bold colors we’ve been seeing featured in the living room, lobby, etc.
