Fall in love with this industrial loft that is filled with unique details.
Food blogger Michelle Lopez and her husband have recently relocated from Portland, Oregon to a very modern and typically industrial Brooklyn apartment. One of the main requirements when looking for an apartment was that it had to have a spacious kitchen, where Michelle could practice and prepare her delicious desserts. And so, the couple ended up moving to this stunning Brooklyn modern home, which you’re about to enter… Take a look!

The food blogger didn’t follow a specific style when furnishing her new home. Instead, she preferred to see what the space needed and decided to respect what would make it look even more beautiful. However, Michelle confided in Apartment Therapy, that she does have a penchant for the Scandinavian style mixed with minimalist elements.
In the living room, soothing tones fill up the room. Details were also very important for the blogger, and we can see a few statement pieces across the room, such as the incredibly handpainted skull you can see below.
The kitchen is, of course, the heart of the house. Very minimalist, very Scandinavian and a little bit inspired by the modern country house style, it is a wide space with lots of space for storage and a lovely decor.
Trendy open shelves take some space above the counter, where Michelle Lopez stores some essentials for her recipes.
The bedroom design is a very simple and lovely space, with just a few stylish essentials. The brick wall is definitely the star of the room, hence the apparent lack of statement pieces in this particular room. The soft tones create a relaxing and cooling atmosphere, which is everything you could want in a bedroom.
