Well, in the aftermath of the last check in our travel checklist, I believe you’re not quite getting how cold will it be in Cologne once you’re in there for IMM 2018! I know I’ve said it already, but THE most important check in our travel essentials list is, undoubtedly, a super warm coat, a really warm one, ok?
The reason why we’re paying so much attention to this detail, is ’cause we know you’ll be more concerned about looking good than being warm, and I understand you I’m committed that mistake before and trust me, no one looks good with a Rudolf nose due to a very strong cold!

3rd Check: Long-lasting Make-Up Will Save You From Disaster
We know you’re going to IMM 2018 to check the best lighting producers in the World, and you’ll probably lose your head over some of them, that we can’t help! However, you still need to make sure you’ll look presentable and this is only possible if you start wearing some long-lasting make-up items!
Why, you ask? I’m guessing you’ll be spending the whole day, walking around from one side to the other, illuminated by all the light from the showcased chandeliers and dealing with all those temperature variations, am I right? Good, so you’ll need a back-up plan, your normal make-up routine won’t last the whole day!

One of societies’ worst nightmare nowadays is running out of battery, and unfortunately, I must admit I’m one of those people whose battery is ALWAYS dead! The most ridiculous thing is that I actually own a power-bank, but am too lazy to even charge that, I know!!
So, as you’re heading to IMM Cologne to do some networking, having battery on your cell is more than essential, I dare to say that without battery you better head to the Hotel and take the afternoon for you! So, let’s avoid this, shall we?
When packing your suitcase, make sure you place a power bank there, maybe you should place 2, just in case!

Although your only purpose to go to Cologne is attending IMM 2018, it doesn’t mean you can’t take the spare time to get to know the city, they say it’s something you need to see! If you decide to take a few hours just to get involved in the German culture and to fall in love with Cologne, then I’m guessing you’ll want to capture the best moments and landscapes, right?
This being said, I think taking your camera with you is crucial, independently if you’re going on vacations or for professional matters!
Imagine you’re waling around IMM Cologne and you see some lighting fixture you really really want on your next project? Will you be taking pictures with your cell? The quality isn’t nearly the same, so that’s why the cameras exist!

Even thought we all have phones and we normally storage all the information there, it might be important if we take a notebook and some pens, they can be the nabbed from hotels, to make sure you write down everything you need and you attach and keep all the business cards that were given to you!
