Going for its 17th year on the run the Architectural Digest Design Show 2018 makes the world go round since its foundation. The worlds leading brands along with some of the fresh juice of today’s talent of design come together to celebrate design and what it means to be a leading brand in the world.
With a carefully curated selection of design, the New York event hosted design seminars, culinary demonstrations, and special appearances. Here’s a peek at what you missed:
Billy Cotton & Amy Lau

Joe Nahem, Jason Oliver Nixon, & John Loecke
Daring Design Details: Bold Colors, Patterns, and Finishes: Join interior designers Joe Nahem, Jason Oliver Nixon, and John Loecke for an exchange of expert intelligence and professional guidance about creating your own personal style. Moderated by Fern Mallis, Founder & President of Fern Mallis LLC.
Wendy Goodman & Victoria Hagan
An Intimate View: Join celebrated designer, Victoria Hagan, as she shares her design philosophy and lessons honed during her storied career. Moderated by Wendy Goodman, Design Editor for New York magazine.
From furniture, accessories to lighting, and art. The show offers thousands of products to source and shop —both from independent makers and established manufacturers in the world, so AD Show 2018 brings nearly 40,000 design aficionados to the city that never sleeps to get them in touch with incredible design displays and inspiration.
Drake & Caleb Anderson
One of the most expected parts of the show is the AD Apartment. This year, designed by Drake/Anderson this year showcased the New York cosmopolitan style with a vibrant, young and glamorous feeling. A budget-friendly apartment, the designers of this year’s show explain what they wanted the apartment to have – “We wanted it to feel like you could walk around and have this sense of circulation and flow.”, claims one of the designers, Caleb Anderson.
…and of course, we couldn’t escape one of the best booths in the whole New York fair! In partnership with Covet House, DelightFULL made sure to bring the glamour and style of the mid-century style bringing those golden hues to the booth. Brubeck was one of the scene stealers of the stand along with Donna and several other mid-century lighting designs that made themselves that one of a kind piece of light design that certainly made you look twice!
