Naomi Campbell in Kenneth Ize

Campbell walked for Kenneth Ize, one of three African designers showing during Paris Fashion Week (a milestone in its own right), who’s collection was characterized by the best craftsmanship techniques. Ize has been working with weavers of Asoke (Nigerian handwoven check designs) to incorporate into his collections, and for the unique collection fall 2020, that recalled to mind his mother’s church looks in West Africa, the renowned designer worked with lacemakers from Vienna (his hometown) to integrate into the details of his designs.

Anthony Vaccarello made a throwback to the ’90swith a show that leveraged latex and ladylike jackets in equal measure. It’s all about a little vamp mixed with a sweeping updo and gold button earrings. All of the bespoke pieces of this incredible collection features some incredible color contrasts.

Being one of the most recent incredible designers, Bruno Sialelli didn’t need to look further than the history of Lanvin when designing his latest range. Accessories in the shape of perfume bottles celebrated one of Lanvin’s most successful entrepreneurial ventures into fragrance. Lanvin’s female-driven success, the formal silhouettes hearkened to the ’20s, when Lanvin was expanding her name into menswear, home decor, furs, and more.

The incredible designer Casey Cadwallader took Mugler’s DNA to heart when designing his latest for the label. Much of the brand’s tailoring was cut in leather for a vampy twist on uniformity; the eveningwear.
