The french city of Lille is already being shaken by its greatest design exhibition: Fantastic 2012 Lille, which is being held by arts organization Lille 3000.
Until January 2013, the city of Lille receives artists from the most various areas: literature, cinema, arts, and, of course, design!

Dutch design lab has built a dome of metallic flowers that appear to come to life as they sense the presence of visitors inside Saint Marie Madeleine church in Lille, France. Lotus Dome is constructed from hundreds of light-sensitive flowers made from ‘lotus foil’, a material developed by the designers using several thin layers of polyester film.
