November is here and with it comes the best events, pop-ups, and lots of fun things to do during the whole month. Today we are going to show you one unmissable November event that is going to take place in the Big Apple. Of course, we are talking about one of the most dazzling New York events: BDNY 2017. BACK TO LAST YEAR’S EDITION: BDNY 2016: ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
Boutique Design New York ( BDNY) is the leading trade fair for the hospitality design industry and it’s presented annually by Boutique Design at NYC’s Javits Center. “This unique event brings interior designers, architects, purchasing agents and hospitality owners/ developers together with manufacturers and marketers of high-caliber design elements for hospitality interiors.”
Networking is on the menu at a variety of special events at BDNY from the opening reception to the NEWH Green Voices session, the BD/ISHP Owners Grill and, capping off the show, the industry’s most prestigious awards presentation, the Gold Key Awards Gala for Excellence in Hospitality Design.
This year, Booth 844 will be THE place where designers, architects, press, bloggers and field experts will come together to celebrate design since one of the most waited exhibitors of this edition is DelightFULL. The lighting brand will be showcasing its mid-century modern lamps, in partnership with Covet Group.
As always, DelightFULL is going to surprise all design lovers with its new retro pieces that were designed to the hospitality design world. Below, we will show you some of the most dazzling mid-century lamps that you’ll be able to see at DelightFULL’s booth:
Coltrane Pendant
Coltrane pendant lamp is one of DelightFULL’s top best sellers. With a minimalist and industrial feeling to it, it is not, however, hard to understand where the mid-century inspiration lies. Coltrane is a simple suspended ceiling light, which is handmade in steel. It features a steel cord and a magnetic disc at the top, while down below the canopy is built out of stainless steel, with a gold-plated finish. The shade is also made of steel but it is lacquered a matte gold on the outside and a gold powder paint on the inside.
