If you are those who still believe that a place can contain a lot of services – without being caothic – and it can be productive and let you with a smile when you go out, well, we have good news for you: Haven’s Kitchen, just west of Union Square, is “THE” place. Don’t believe it? Well, what about these all services together? It is a cooking school, café, catering company, and boutique, just to name a few of its guises.
The idea forthcoming by the talented 0wner Alison Schneider couldn’t be more appealing. “I imagined a food community where people could learn about, prepare, and share delicious food.”, explained Alison.
Alison has a masters in the burgeoning academic field of food studies and worked withTurett Collaborative Architects on a gut renovation that transformed a 19th-century carriage house, previously home to a Japanese screen manufacturer, into her dream culinary club.
We really appreciated the result. What about you?
