GQ Russia surprised the most attentive readers with a Spring touch at their magazine from last month. The editorial hosted in its pages is titled “can’t showcase Russian alphabet”(“In the shadow of young girls in flower”), by Marcel Proust’s novel.
The explanation behind the images lays in Proust’s speech that is focused in male and female throughout adolescence, the period that bodies and souls are blooming. The photographer Michele Laurita, inspired by that human phase, captured through her lens an equivalent blooming fashion-wise, working the magic of double exposure in order to create a paradisiac landscape styled by Ekaterina Melnikova with protagonists Niclas Gillis and Jennifer McMannis.
