Stockholm’s Skeppsholmen Caverns are the ideal scenario to the installation named “Glass Elephant”, full of gracious glass objects which are followed closer by robotic arms.
These glass pieces are conceived by Swedish designers inside the grotto-like Skeppsholmen caverns belonging to the Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities.
As a matter of fact, each designer’s collection has an industrial robot behind, which is responsible to brush the objects with a feather duster, to shine a spotlight on them or gently wobble them.
Among the participating designers are included Whatswhat, Magnus Elebäck and Chris Martin ofMassproductions, Note Design Studio, Johannes Carlström and Åsa Jungnelius.
