Interior Design Projects| Converse HQ redesign by Jennifer Carpenter
The human being usually love to watch show about before and after, watching photos of people without makeup – specially if this person is famous – than we totally lose it. The same with buildings for us, sorry. We adore design and interior design fulfills us the most. Interior Design Projects are our passion and when we heard about the Converse Headquarters redesign, we lost it and were dying to take a look inside the project.
The best interior design projects are our favorite and today we bring you the exmpe of Converse: they selected the Architect Jennifer Carpenter to redesign the new world Converse headquarters in Boston, MA. The new office is being relocated to a warehouse in lovejoy wharf. The building has eight stories but the original project will add a two storys more and a standalone two level pavilion structure.

The interior design project will be worth $230 million redevelopment, the expanding building will go from eight stories to 10 for a total of 214,000 square feet. The new headquarters will be accommodate 600-plus employees, office areas, a materials library, and showrooms..plus a yoga studio. Ain’t it great? The stand alone structure in front of HQ will receive guests and visitors, it has a cafe and of course a Converse shop.
The architect in charge is Jennifer Malia Carpenter. She launched her firm in 2009 and she has been designated an official Women Business Enterprise (WBE) for New York State and New York City. Jennifer is a renowned designer and features in several design anthologies.
Before starting JCA, Jennifer was an Associate and the Director for Retail and Hospitality with Rogers Marvel Architects, a firm she joined in 1998. In 2000 Jennifer founded the award-winning furniture and product design studio TRUCK Product Architecture with the Rogers Marvel partners; she designed furniture for retailers including the MoMA Design Store and Design Within Reach, and a full range of tabletop for Arc International.
