In Eindhoven, there’s a hotel that is more than just your regular city accommodation. The Student Hotel was built to be the place where all design lovers can spend quality time, at the same time it offers a place to stay as both a short term and long term guest, meet with fellow students, hold a lecture, and grab a drink at the end of the day. Filled with colors and some of the trendiest pieces of furniture and decor patterns, this is definitely paradise on earth for every interior design aficionado.

This one of a kind project was conceptualized by Sarafopoulos Architects, together with de Architekten Cie, and interior design firm …,staat. As you scroll down you’ll realise how full of colors and mixed interior design styles it is, making it a unique concept hotel.

As you enter the building, a jaw-dropping abundance of colors and scandinavian-inspired pieces of furniture sweeps you away. It’s like you’ve entered a nordic heaven that you’ll never want to get out of. Good thing this is an actual hotel and you can stay over!
‘The Pool’ designed by ninetynine is both the restaurant and bar of this stylish hotel. It features all the bright colors we’ve been seeing across the hotel’s decor, yellow pendant lights, and a bright pink floor challenging every decor rule, that just makes everything better.
There’s also a gym and a games room. The latter is filled with ping pong tables and a pool table that can be used by every guest that wants to enjoy a little fun with the best of daylight.
The guest can also enjoy a big alternative auditorium with rows of seating, which allows for talks to be given, presentations to be made, and lectures to be delivered in a modern space with lots of natural light and a unique mural along one wall.
If you need a space to work together, watch or rehearse your presentations, or even get together for a creative brainstorming session, you can enjoy this unique room, “that’s more like a life-sized optical illusion“.
In the hotel rooms, a combination of mid-century modern furniture and contemporary design elements, like the oversized circular hooks, hanging pendant lights, and geometric bedding, create modern comfortable spaces that can be enjoyed both long term and short term.
A black bathroom creates a more contemporary environment, and it’s a nice rest from all the bright colors going on everywhere else in the hotel.
Created in an abandoned post office in the city square, its tall tower has been divided into three sections, with the ground level targeting anyone and everyone, the middle levels dedicated to student rooms, and the top levels reserved for guests of the hotel. The perfect place to meet friends, organize the best study session and just have some fun, generally.
