The Qubus design studio was created in 2002 by Jakub Berdych and Maxim Velcovsky who decided to establish a multidisciplinary stage for exploring, experimenting and implementing new designs with porcelain and glass and in 2008 decided to open Dox by Qubus where you can find glassware, porcelain, lighting, furniture, interior design objects and more from not only Qubus but also from the best Czech designers.

Cihelna Concept Store is great design shop that stocks an exclusive selection of glass, porcelain, jewelry, furniture, and more – all from leading Czech designers and manufacturers. The store is situated in an old brick factory from the 18th century that is located close to the fable Vltava River. The interior of the design store is as you would expect it to be – sleek and minimal, with upmost attention played on displaying the timeless design objects.

Lucie Koldová is a young and supremely talented product and furniture designer from the Czech Republic, currently based in Paris from where she has been operating her own design studio since 2012. Lucie Koldová’s passionate work ranges from everyday functional design pieces to lovely design lighting that is just simply gorgeous; she also works with conceptual space and urban areas and creates poetic art gallery objects and limited edition series.

If you desire to take a piece of Prague with you do take a look at the masterful pieces of craftwork by VJEMY Studio. Consisting of a design-architectural trio, they create interior designs, customized furniture designs as well as home accessories. It established by the Ciegler brothers, Adam and Samuel, and Světlana Koženova in 2013. What is more, the studio draws up construction concepts and interior designs, such as the Playbag brand showroom concept or the concept of an installation in the ZIBA Prague Glass Experience Museum.

Modernista was founded in 1999 as an online store with restored original furniture pieces from the 1930’s and soon gained an excellent reputation and is now regularly featured in Czech and international design and housing magazines. The selection offered in the Modernista design shop is varied and wide with Czech Cubist ceramics, Modernist furniture, design lighting, jewelry, china, and glass, contemporary design and design books. Modernista also still offers restored originals from the Art Deco, Bauhaus, and Czech Cubism movements.
