INTRODUCING NEUTRAL GRAY…
PANTONE 17-4402 TPG
Neutral Gray
Remember how we talked about Navy Peony yesterday? Neutral gray kind of comes in the same direction. According to Pantone, it is “the standard bearer of all neutrals“. It “shares the anchoring role with Navy Peony in this palette. It can be used as an accent or a head-to-toe statement shade.” Being so close to the actual color of silver, it is much easier to use pretty much anywhere around the house. But we’ll get there in no time…
IN THE FASHION INDUSTRY
Gray is a stunning neutral color. Present in the New York Fashion Week color palette, it brings all the other colors and elements together. It can be used with statement colors such as bright red or shaded spruce, or other neutrals such as white, beige or black. Either way, it will for sure be in everyone’s wardrobes in the next couple of months.
IN THE INTERIOR DESIGN WORLD
As we were saying, you can use this color pretty much anywhere! Let us give you a few interior design tips on the spot! If you use a warm gray paint such as the one shown in the first picture of the collage above, you can bring a sense of comfort to your room that wouldn’t be achieved with any other color. In the other photos, we can see how this neutral color is used in a sophisticated chandelier or even as a result of a color palette, which conveys the sophistication of this shade.
NEUTRAL GRAY MID-CENTURY PIECES
Sinatra is a modern chandelier that was inspired by Frank Sinatra’s song “New York, New York”. Handmade in brass and with a nickel plated finish, Sinatra reflects the popular classics from the mid-century period of design.
