Premiered in the Spring of 2018, just as about the Royal Wedding was about to be, you can’t escape this fairytale movie. Perfect for a night in with a cup of wine along! Don’t miss this royal wedding edition!
A ROYAL MOVIE SESH: INSIDE THE SCREEN: ALL THE SCOOP OF THE OSCARS NOMINEES 2018!
It only seemed fair after the two royal movies of William & Kate. The fairytale romance of the iconic royal couple has been in the news for a long time. The stars of the movie? Actors Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser will play Meghan and Harry, respectively. Resemblance or not with the real life, this royal wedding movie it’s exciting to see and the Lifetime-esque love story of Meghan and Harry is a one to watch if you’re with a withdrawal of the royal wedding.
So now onto the movie plot shall we? The movie captures somewhat of the essence of the royal couple history. From the hit tv show that the bride participated to the fights against sexism that the actress had to go through, the fuzzy and warm feeling of the movie starts after the couple finally meets on a blind date set up by a mutual friend!
What to expect from this royal movie? Plenty of surprise visits overseas, encounters with lions, nights under the stars and that’s just a sneak peak of what you’re missing! Based on a script by writers Scarlett Lacey and Terrence Coli, the movie has that earnest feeling of being inside the story of the couple of the moment.
Onto the chemistry. As this is a Lifetime movie passion couldn’t be left out and the chemistry between the two leads is palpable. Dreamy even. Even though this is a Lifetime movie, it stays richer with every moment of it. Depicting all the issues that the couple had to go through to get married and the way that the media scrutinised them for it, this isn’t like any fairy tale prince and princess movie – it’s far better because of it.
