Sadly, a UK event only, the screenings are perfect and fit clearly into the tastes of the most critical of them all. With a simple formula, as they say, the big secret is simple: a classic film on a big screen in some of the most incredible settings. From the Belvoir Castle to the garden of the beautiful garden of Bolton Abbey, your summer evenings will be filled with magic no matter the place.
What about the quality you ask? Well, the Luna cinema provides a cinema quality and audio experience just like you know it inside but this time, under the magic of being under the stars. Striving to gather the best cinematic experiences of them all in the open air cinema events, this will be the place where you’ll learn how to love your least favorite movie.
Screening some of our precious favorites – Dirty Dancing, Grease – the venues bring that cinema magic along with some of the newest additions to the cinema world such as The Greatest Showman and Dunkirk. With films for all kinds of ages and stages, The Luna Cinema carries magic everywhere.
The season kicked off in May and ends in early October with a classic – Moulin Rouge at Hampton Court Palace. You can book your ticket or just buy it there! Prepare your romantic evening out and get your picnic ready, you can buy your blanket and backrests on the spot. An added bonus: there are VIP tickets!
