We all know what you are thinking: no way that Julien Macdonald already revealed its autumn 2012-13 collection! Well it is true: he has today showed a collection that’s intended to showcase his London-based atelier’s skills following the launch of his new Bespoke label late last year. Although the launch of his new private-client brand and the opening of his in-house atelier meant that he wasn’t able to show at London Fashion Week in February as usual, Macdonald wouldn’t be able to disappoint his ready-to-wear fans.
The glamorous cocktail dresses and his first ever bridal dress are perfect for his red-carpet clientele – and he still has his predilect choices on his fashion muse wish list.
“I’d love to see something from this collection on Gwyneth Paltrow, Florence Welch and Jennifer Lopez, ” he revealed. “I think they each have their own unique sense of style.”
