Medieval decoration is evoked by the metal suspension lamp and the ancient ambiance
Anna Noguera is a Spanish architect and her creations are always remarkable. The last one is no exception and has a bonus to magnify it even more.
The times of torches inside the houses, stone arches and arrows on the wall are over. At least, it is what we think. Combining this feeling of the 16th century and the modern design, the architect Anna Noguera converted a medieval house into two modern shelter. The rebuilding took place in Girona, Spain, and was baptized by the name of “Alemanys 5”.
Stone and wood are combined into this duplex, named “El Badiu” (The Veranda). Even if you aren’t from the royal family (and there are pretty chances that you aren’t) you may feel a king inside this walls. The house is equipped with a master suite, two children suites, a kitchen-dining room and a big living room with a stunning fireplace.
The other house is smaller but just in size. The details are also magnificent and the materials are the same. The rooms of “El Jardi” (The Garden) are identical. The coherence of these two buildings, “El Badiu” and “El Jardi” lead the visitors and renters to the light, the shades, the water and the silence. If you’re money can buy happiness and serenity maybe this is the right bet.
