The Sleep event 2012 edition starts today at the Business Design Centre and expects to wows every one. This is the only international hotel event to focus entirely on hotel design, development and architectural excellence, that incorporates a top level two-day conference and prestigious European Hotel Design Awards.
The event will present more than 150 international exhibitors, showcasing exquisite bathrooms, creative lighting, bespoke furniture, accessories and fabrics alongside innovative technology.
This year, the event have challenged interior designers and architects to create a 5stars luxury guestrooms.

Design & Contracts are a multi-layered business that manufacture, source and supply contract furniture for hotels, cafes, pubs, clubs and any leisure application – they are specialized in bespoke solutions in all materials and creating schemes to suit designers and clients requirements.
Focus on themes like illumination, in the first day of conference, are three of Britain’s best lighting designers. The energetic efficiency and high technology are also topics of the opening day, leading by Ricardo Moreira and Warren Edwards respectively, between many others.
The second day wil receive Amanda Baillieu, talking about small and beautiful hotel room. The panel, chaired by Philippa Turrell, will look at the evolution of bathrooms within hotels, how they are changing to adapt to guest’s needs.
